South Belt Sharks Spirit Nights!!

Every Tuesday night this season we will gather at a different restaurant for Comradery and Team Building. And we get to raise money for our team! No cooking and fundraising… it’s a win-win!

We are still in need of a Clerk for this season, there are two clerk training sessions. This is one of the most important jobs of the team, we need a parent or two (several teams have clerk teams to split the work) to step up and volunteer!

Each meet we need up to eight officials to work the meet. Officials work a two hour shift during the meet. No experience is required, new officials will shadow another official to start. All returning officials need to take the training class and test. If you have over 4 years experience you can just take the test online.

We are happy to announce that registration is open for 2021!

If you are a returning swimmer, we hope that you will sign up for summer swim with us this season. New swimmers, please read our tryout requirements below.

8 and under – must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) UNASSISTED, without stopping and without holding on to the side of the pool or a lane rope.

9 and up – must be able to swim the length of the pool and back (50 yards) UNASSISTED without stopping and without holding on to the side of the pool or a lane rope.

Please understand that this is NOT a learn to swim program. We are a competitive swimming team and there are no lifeguards on duty during any practice. Please do not register if your child cannot meet this requirement. There is a $50 non-refundable processing fee included in registration.
